Oh, Daddy! I miss you just as much today as the day you went home. I have so many memories of you that I could never list them all. You were such a gentle soul, so full of wisdom. You loved unconditionally and without judgment. You were always here for us, just so dependable. You were so intelligent, instilling in us how important it was to learn. You taught us so much about life, things not in a textbook. You disciplined us when we needed it and we did. You taught us to respect others, to be a good helper, a good listener, and what it meant to be a family. I´m the person I am today because of you. Thank you. If only I could have one more day....

May God Bless the DeLaney family. When I was a school mate of Matt's, he always spoke of his daddy in nothing but terms of love. Now, they are both together again.
