A retired bus driver for Ascension Parish Schools passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the age of 93. He was a resident of Donaldsonville and a United States Army veteran. Visiting 5-7 PM Friday, April 21, 2017 at Demby & Son Funeral Home, Donaldsonville. Visitation continues 9 AM Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church, 206 West 10th St., Donaldsonville until religious services at 11 AM conducted by Rev. Carnell Joseph, Pastor. Interment in the church cemetery with military honors. He is survived by 4 daughters; Cheryl (Rev. Royal) Forcell of Donaldsonville, Sandra (Earl) Perry Jr. of Gonzales, Muriel (Phillip) Feast Jr. of Lovonia and Drue (Kenneth) Gaines of Houston, TX, 3 sons; Clarence (Joyce) Gipson Jr., of Donaldsonville, Kevin (Ashley) Gomez of Denver, CO, Courtney (Cathlyn) Gaines of Gramercy, 1 sister Enola Jarrow of Donaldsonville, 1 brother Lawrence (Betty) Gipson of Gonzales, 27 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
