Barbara, we are deeply saddened to learn of Commander Carter's passing. Such an outstandingly admirable man! Our family is blessed to have known and loved him. We are tremendously grateful that he and Brian were able to enjoy happy, quality times together throughout recent years, and that he was able to see the young man and officer he so greatly helped to develop. Truly, Commander Carter is a man of honor. We will always remember him.
May you and your family find comfort and peace in knowing God's love for us all.

Dear Barbara,
Greg and I are so sorry to hear of Clyde's passing. I know you will miss him; so will we. We enjoyed knowing him and the family through Episcopal High School's Navy J.R.O.T.C. program. What a wonderful leader for our son and Clyde's other students, a gentleman to be looked up to, a fine example of a patriotic man, husband, and father.
We enjoyed spending time with you both on NJROTC Drill Meets and educational military trips. We will miss him very much.
We hope to see you at church sometimes, like we have in the past.
with affection,
Valerie & Greg
