David was born June 4, 1957 to Milford Gayle Dunlop and Lorraine Grace Broski Dunlop in Salina, Kansas. He was raised in Bossier City, and resided in St. Gabriel. David passed away October 11, 2017, at age 60. He was a graduate of Airline High School in Bossier City where he was a member of the mighty Viking Baseball and Football teams from 1972-1975, "Forever Young". He was a construction equipment management manager. David is survived by his life partner and soul mate, Connie Harris; sons, Aaron David Dunlop and wife Angel, Jon Ryan Dunlop and wife Brandy, and Zachary Michael Dunlop; stepson, Austin Corey McDaris; stepdaughter, Krystal Wren Stanley; sister, Sharon Roscher and husband David; brothers, Kelvin Dunlop and wife Cheryl, Gary Dunlop and wife Donna, and Jeff Dunlop and wife Kim; and grandchildren, Skyy, Brooklyn, Brady and Paisley Dunlop. He is preceded in death by his parents Milford Gayle Dunlop and Lorraine Grace Broski Dunlop, and a nephew, Andrew Peter Reed. Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2017, from 9 am until a memorial mass at 11 am at St Gabriel Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Landry, celebrant. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of David's life in Connie's home at 5755 Highway 74 St Gabriel, following the service. A private interment will follow at a later date.
