On Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 12:45 a.m. at 79 years of age, Earnestine passed away at "Sterling Place" Nursing Home. Mrs. Earnestine Walker Quire was born on April 24, 1936, to Charlie & Ida Walker. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Leo, David Henry, Alfred, Charlie, Matthew, Willie, Johnny Sr., Joseph & Callahan. Daughter, Carolyn Little, Son-in-law Wendell Albert Wetherspoon and Granddaughter Natasha Dixon. Her fondest memories will be cherished by: Loving & Devoted husband Andrew Quire, Sr., Sister Ella Burkhalter of Berkley, California, Sisters-in-Law Gertrude Walker, Elsie Jackson, Susie Perkins & Marcelle Walker of San Francisco, California. Daughters, Carolyn Little, Linda Wetherspoon, Arlington Texas, Angelo Moses and Shakeirah Johnson (Mario) Allen, Texas. Stepdaughters Freda Gee & Faye Glover. Sons Terry Richard & Stepson Andrew Quire, Jr, Glendale, Arizona. Grand Children,19. Great Grand Children, 13. A host of nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends. Services at Magnolia Baptist Church, 960 East Buchanan Street, Baton Rouge on Saturday, Feb. 16 at noon, with repass to follow.
