Freddie Marshall Lathan departed this life on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the age of 91. He was a native of Lettsworth, LA, and a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He was a loving, devoted husband and father of 6. He was a veteran of the US Army, where he was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal for his service in Japan. He was a member of Neely United Methodist Church where he served on the Usher Board. Freddie loved to fish, hunt and garden and was a self-taught mechanic who could fix anything. He had a great sense of humor, a sharp wit, and enjoyed keeping up with news/politics. Services will be held at Neely United Methodist Church, 1755 Thomas H Delpit Dr. on Saturday June 16, 2018. Visitation begins at 10:00am and the funeral service will begin at 11:00am.
