A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 30, 2016 at 2:00p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Gerald Domingue, 77, who died Friday, May 27, 2016 in Crowley. Fr. Clint Trahan, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours to be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Mr. Domingue is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bertha Soileau Domingue; three sons, Clayton Domingue and his wife Geretta of Lyons Point, Chris Domingue and his wife Gina of Crowley, and Jerome Domingue and his wife Yvette of Crowley; seven daughters, Becky Domingue and her companion Hector of Dickinson , TX, Stephanie Leger and her husband Irby of Crowley, Sheila Woods and her husband Jimmy of Gueydan, Rhonda Webb and her husband Harris of Crowley, Cindy LeBlanc and her husband Tim of Crowley, Rachel Comeaux and her husband Ricky of Church Point, and Denell Domingue of Crowley; one brother, Dalton Domingue and his wife Gerry of Egan; two sisters, Lorraine Regan and her husband Larry of Egan, and Theressa Broussard and her husband Clifton of Crowley; twenty-five grandchildren; and twenty-six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Joseph and Edna Stewart Domingue; one son, Gerard Domingue; and one brother, Roynald Domingue. Mr. Gerald and his wife were the proud owners of Domingue's Grocery in Crowley for 5 years and he also proudly served his country in the Army National Guard for several years.
