Dear Linda, Kim, Jody & extended family,
My husband Bob Owens now deceased just six months ago was a friend since they were about four yrs old. They were more like brothers doing everything together. What wonderful stories both of them had. Glenn's dad treated both of them like his sons. Never showing a difference in either one. He made sure both boys had equal money to go to movies or whatever. They, to my knowledge, never had an argument.
Glenn called me several months before Bob passes, tell me he wasn't going to last too much longer, I asked him if he was ready, he never missed a beat saying "YES "he was ready. Now they will be together having good times watching LSU & UT play football.
I know it will be hard on all the family but y'all can rest assured he is in a better place! Also know that he will continue to watch over all his family. Keep him in your thoughts & prayers as I will also.
Sincerely, Linda Almand-Owens
