A native of New Orleans and resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014, at age 58. She was a PCA/Caregiver, with two years of college at LSU. Her hobbies included sewing and decorating. Other interests were caring for others, participation in church activities, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Beverly Martin Jr., Christopher Martin, and Timothy Williams; sisters, Yvonne Fort, Linda Halford; brother, Alphonse Williams, Sr.; grandchildren, Deiondre Martin, Darion Martin, Dejah Martin, Mason Williams, and Madison Williams. Preceded in death by her parents, Rayford and Polly Williams, maternal and paternal grandparents, and grandchildren Timothy Jr. and Daniel Christopher. Visitation will be at Calvary Lutheran Church, 5219 Greenwell St., Baton Rouge, on Saturday, March 22, from 9:00 a.m. until funeral service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Gary Peterson. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens, 3012 Blount Rd., Baton Rouge, 70807.
