My loving husband of 68 years went to his Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 and will be missed by his family and friends. He was retired from Delta Southern. He was 88 years old and a native of Leonville and a resident of French Settlement. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Resthaven Funeral Home 11718 Jefferson Hwy from 9 am until religious services at 12 noon. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his loving wife Eula Mae Artigue Woodson; loving daughter, Connie M. Woodson Hardy; grandson, Todd Hardy and wife Michelle; granddaughter, Paula Hardy, Stacie Price and husband Brian; great-grandson, Cody and Colton Hardy and Blake Price; great-granddaughter, Megan Price; step great-granddaughter, Jennifer Doby and husband Alex; step- great great granddaughter, Alexus Doby; step-great great grandson Kaleb Doby; and a niece Gerry Arnaud and husband Elvin. Ivy is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Carmelite Woodson; brother, Wilson Dolphy Woodson; sister, Esther Woodson Sonnier; niece, Shirley Sonnier; brother-in-law, Alton Nettles; siter-in-law, Darcie Lee Artigue Nettles; father-in-law, Jules Artigue; mother-in-law, Ada Lanclos Artigue; and nephew, Jules Nettles. So sorry for your loss. My family all send their prayers. I am sure Mom Tan was there to meet him. She always enjoyed your visits. Sorry I could not make the services.

Sorry for your loss my mother Bernice Antoine worked at St. Charles Catholic Church and knew Mr. woodson very well I can remeber visiting Mr. & Mrs. Woodson in Leonville with my mom my prayers are with you I loss my mom 9/12/2012 May God bless your family at this time and give you the strength you need.
