Jean Harmon Obituary

Jean Daray Harmon passed away March 17, 2017. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25th at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches. Visitation will be at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Friday March 24. Born July 3rd, 1945 in Natchitoches, Jean graduated with honors from St. Mary's Academy and then earned B.A. and M.A. degrees in Special Education from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. Jean was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. She is survived by her sons Thomas H. Harmon Jr. and John Daray Harmon of Baton Rouge; and grandchildren Mary Danner Harmon and Thomas H. Harmon III of Mobile, Ala. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert W. Daray and Dorothy Legendre Daray. Pallbearers will be Thomas H. Harmon III, Michael Church, Joey Stone, Bill Cloutier, Murry Harmon, and Kevin Mashburn. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Lawrence Tujague and George Haynes of Baton Rouge.

So very sad to hear about Jean. I reconnected with her when I helped her find her latest home. She was such a kind and classy lady. My heartfelt condolences to her family. I know she will be greatly missed.
