My 103 year old most loved, Stepmother died last week.
Many years ago when getting a new vonage phone number I got a 225-612-9713 # to be a local call for Jessie in Baton Rouge area. Jessie has been in a nursing home in Baton Rouge which she loves & has enjoyed living at....

We have not been able to talk because of her not being able to hear but she asked that I keep leaving a message so 5 days a week I would call and the nurses especially Antanet would give her this message: Roy, Laura & Garnett her Step Children, Loves, Loves, Loves her, eat her potatoes (which she loved) get some sunshine & give the nurse a big hug for relating our message.

Jessie was human with some rough edges like all of us.

She was also very constant with her faith in "Our Creator of All Things in body with Us", The Prince of Peace", Savior of the World from Condemnation" & enjoyed and shared a close personal relationship with his, "Pure Spirit of Pure Love & Pure Truth" which she was most loved for. You can read some of her life's beauty of love in her book, "MRS. Jessie's Century" by "Jessie Brown Thompson". published by some of her most loving & wonderful friends "Joe & Debbie Daigle, Jeremiah-Jessica-Josiah" "Bond Servants of Love". Thank You for Your Love & Prayer Jessie & Readers of this email.

We met Sister Jessie 23 years ago at our garage sale and became close friends. We have been so blessed to have had her in our lives. We know she is well and in the presence of our Lord and beholding the Father, speaking face to face--how awesome!!!! She is with all the loved ones and friends who have gone before her, especially her beloved son, Sammy.
Praise the Lord for his wonderful promises that sustain us who are left here, but we are not mourning her Homegoing; Sister Jessie wouldn't have had it that way, either.

This was a truly amazing women. She's my mother's Aunt. My mother inherited all of her awesome talents and those talents continue to pass down from generation to generation. I can truly say she is the foundation of so many wonderful lives today. I am truly blessed and grateful to have spent time with her from a growing child to an adult. A truly interesting women!!!

I was sadden to hear about the loss to your family. I have found much comfort in the promises found at Psalm 102:17. May you find comfort and hope in the promises in God's word as well.
