A native of Shreveport and resident of Baton Rouge, Randy passed away February 17, 2017 due to complications of pneumococcal pneumonia. He was 56 and an Exxon-Mobile plant operator with 25 years of service. Visitation will be Monday, February 20 at Family of Faith Church, 10748 Perkins Rd, from 9:30am until services at 11am conducted by Rev. Joel Davis. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Randy is survived by his wife, Cynthia Thornson Dean; father and step-mother, Billy and Charlene Maggio Dean; three sons, Brandon Michael, Taylor Randall and Conner Patrick Dean; two granddaughters Kaydence Claire Dean and Dylan Rae Dean; two step-sisters, Tracey Crouch Cottano and Tami Crouch Barnes; step-brother, Shayne Crouch; aunts and uncles, Connie and Walter Lee of Shreveport, and Dolores and Roland Colvin of Sarepta; two cousins, Eddie Colvin and family, and Mark Lee and family. Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Ann Terral Dean; paternal grandparents, Ruth "Nanaw" Sandlin Dean and John Sidney Dean; maternal grandparents, Edith Smith Terral and Conley Terral. He was a graduate of Bellaire High School, Baton Rouge, football fan and loved to play golf. Please share condolences at www.rabenhorst.com.
