Pastor Johnny Elton Johnson, Jr., Pastor of New Belmont Baptist Church, Labadieville, LA departed this life on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans, LA. He was 46, a native of Donaldsonville, LA and resident of Sorrento, LA. Visiting at New Belmont Baptist Church, 3037 Hwy 1, Labadieville, LA on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Visiting to continue on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 9:00am to Religious Services at 11:00am. Pastor Devin Mason of the Second District Missionary Baptist Association of Louisiana will officiate. Burial in Greater Israel Baptist Church Cemetery, 7076 LA-308, Belle Rose,, LA. Survived by his wife, Kennitra Johnson; children, Tyler, Johnny "J.T.", III and Kristian Angelle Johnson; mother, Linda Moses (Willie); father, Johnny Johnson, Sr. (Linda); 6 brothers, Cash Green (Erin), Houston Green (Parrisha), Lloyd Johnson, Damion Dorsey (Kizzy), Lance Johnson (Catherine) and Bernell Green, Jr.; 1 sister, Sharri Louis (Dominique); mothers-in-law, Marva Johnson and Marjorie Collins; sisters-in-law; Kristina (Rhys) Harrison and Tyson Collins; grandmothers- in-law, Maggie Johnson and Angella Keys; also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cole and Ruth Crumes; paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Leanna Johnson; father-in-law, Kentrell Collins.
