Our Angel quietly passed away on June 8, 2013 at 9:59 a.m. at Woman's Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Juanita M. Vessel of Baton Rouge; his father, Terrance Matthews of New Orleans; grandmothers, Anita Vessel Green of Baton Rouge and Sylvia Matthews of New Orleans; grandfather, Michael W. Brown of Zachary; great-grandmothers, Lucille Brown of Zachary and Alice Vessel of Baton Rouge; godparents, Ray and Virginia Cheffen of LaPlace; loving aunts, April Green of Baton Rouge, Joi Brown of Zachary and other aunts; and numerous great uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Winnfield Memorial Park, Plank Rd., Baton Rouge. Pastor Donald D. Robertson, Sr., officiating. A. Hamilton Platinum Funeral Services, Baton Rouge, entrusted with arrangements.
