A ceremony celebrating the life of Katherine Abbott "Miss Kay" Fridge will be held at 1 pm Friday in the chapel of Seale Funeral Home; visitation will begin at 10 am until time of the service; interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Mausoleum. Beloved wife of the late John W. Fridge, Jr., she was born January 31, 1928 in Binghamton, New York and departed from this life on March 22, 2014 at the age of 86 years. She was a resident of New Orleans and Denham Springs; retired Jewelry Consultant; a member of the Methodist Faith and attended Life Church; she enjoyed baking, cooking, painting, reading, gardening, playing cards and had a passion for crossword puzzles and Words with Friends. But above all, she loved her family and spending time with them. She is survived by sons John David, Sr. and wife Ellen Thompson Fridge, Mark Daniel, Sr. and wife Lisa W. Fridge; grandchildren John David Fridge Jr., (Danielle) Mark Daniel, Jr. (Sarah), Michael Abbott (Heather), Katie Fridge Watts (Tom), Kelly Fridge Boudreaux (Trent), Scott Q. Fridge, Julie Beth Fridge, John W. Fridge III, and Austin James Fridge; great grandchildren Gracie, Mark, Thomas, Kaitlyn, Brooke, Savannah, Tyler, Brody, Abbott and Emerson; nieces and nephews Patricia Blair, Pamela Hines, Pamela Razziano, Nicholas Frieje, Roy, Kevin and Ronald Lacoste, James, David and Sandra Nader.
