Katherine Hansen Billings passed away at 1:30 AM Monday, June 19, 2017 at the Richard Murphy Hospice House in Hammond at the age of 69. She was a resident of Denham Springs. Visitation will be held at Central Baptist Church in Baton Rouge on Monday, June 26, 2017, from 9:00 AM until religious services at 11:00 AM conducted by Pastor Bob Buchanan. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 PM Monday, June 26, 2017, at Grace Memorial Park in Plaquemine. She is survived by her husband, Ronald J. Billings Sr.; sons, Ronald J. Billings Jr., Marcus T. Billings, Michael Anthony Billings, David Jonathan Billings and Christopher Todd Billings; sisters, Wanda Whalen, Barbara Singleton and Nantze Trahan; brothers, John and Jackie Hansen; grandson, Paul Billings; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David Saucier, Mitchell Billings, Sallie Billings Saucier and Marie Black Billings and numerous other relatives she loved very much. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mildred Hansen; son, Paul Daniel Billings and sister, Betty Rogers. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Baton Rouge. Kitti you was a wonderful sister-in-law. You have been in my prayers thru out your sickness. I know you are in peace now. Now my prayers are with your Big Ronnie and boys to help thru their loss. Love you and miss you.

I knew Katherine for many years on the Chessmaniac.com site. We were also FaceBook friends. She was a great lady and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. My condolences to her family and friends. We will all miss her greatly.

I'm sorry to hear of Ms. Kitty's passing. I know she and Paul had a beautiful reunion in heaven! We all had a good time growing up on Bruce Drive together, even when we were having bottle rocket wars! God bless.
