Kevin passed away at home Friday, May 11, 2018 at the age of 48. He was a pipefitter for Union Local 198 for 20 plus years; resident of Plaquemine and native of Baton Rouge, La. Visiting will be at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 9am until religious services at 12pm, conducted by Allen Hebert. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Chantal Williams Hidalgo; son, Gavin Hidalgo; faithful dog, Jack; mother, Dorothy "Dottie" Hidalgo; sister, Christine "Chris" Hidalgo Nevels and husband Ivan; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Martin "Monk" Hidalgo. His passions were racing, motorcycles, fishing and playing basketball with his son. Pallbearers will be Brian Forehand, Tristan and Britton Williams, E.J. Hidalgo, Ivan Nevels and Chris Tarver.
