My condolences to the Chopin family. Lamy helped launch my professional career at C-K Associates in the late 80s, laying a strong foundation for my work in air quality, which continues to this day. I'm grateful to have known Lamy, and sad to hear of his passing.

Although I did not know Mr. Chopin as well as many others in my company, he was always very kind and thoughtful when he spoke to me. He will be missed, and we hope to live up to his vision of what we can be.

Our prayers, blessings, thoughts, and condolences to Janis, and to Lamy's and Janis' children, grandchildren, in-laws, relatives and friends. Lamy was a wonderful and extraordinarily good and caring person during my association with him when he managed and worked at C-K and Associates. As you know or can imagine, he exhibited a very high standard in his work ethic, family orientation, and moral conviction. May the perpetual light of Heaven shine upon Lamy eternally and may God's favor be with those who are grieving the loss of his physical presence. And may God's grace be forever with all of you.

Lamy always greeted you with a boyish smile and an extended hand. I was 28 when I started at CK and now at 57; thinking back I could not have asked for a better boss and role model to follow! More importantly, it was not his business and technical skills that were great, but his character as a man. I can still remember Lamy getting on a rope swing on one of our Okatoma Creek canoe trips and a walk in the woods on a squirrel hunting trip; he enjoyed many of the simple things; men of confidence and identity usually do. I suspect that the Lord knows him well! Lamy has a great legacy through the people he touched and of course his family. Michele and I are in sorrow with you. Keith Nichols
