Lawrence Jackson Obituary

Lawrence "Lonnie" Jackson, a resident of Plaquemine, La., passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at the age of 61. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Hurst United Methodist Church, 58225 Court Street, Plaquemine, La. Visitation resumes on Saturday, March 17, 2018, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment in Grace Memorial Park. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 35 years, Mary Ambrose Jackson; three daughters; one son and six grandchildren; mother, Edith Jackson Robinson; three sisters, one brother and other relatives and friends; preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Jones; maternal and paternal grandparents and sister, Tina 'Tiny' Robinson. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Baton Rouge, Butterfly Wing who so lovingly cared for him and his family during his illness. Arrangements entrusted to Pugh's Mortuary, 58233 Plaquemine Street, Plaquemine, La. (225) 687-2860.
