Lelia Mae passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at Plaquemine Caring Nursing Home in Plaquemine at the age of 90. She is a native of Dupont and resident of Plaquemine. Lelia Mae was a retired sales clerk that started out at West Brothers, then it turned into Anthony's and later Stage. Visiting will be Wilbert Funeral Home in Plaquemine on Monday, from 9 a.m. until Rite of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Matt Lorrain. Burial to follow in Grace Memorial Park. Lelia Mae is survived by her daughter, Janice Granger Boutte' and husband Kenneth Boutte' of Brusly; son, Robert Granger Sr. and wife Elaine Babin Granger of Plaquemine; two sisters, Emma Louise Armond of Baton Rouge and Helen Armond White and husband Archie White of Morgan City; two grandchildren, Robert Granger Jr. and wife Mary Kay Granger of Zachary, Adam Guichet and fiancée Donavia Duncan of Dallas,TX; two great grandchildren, Chad Granger and Brennen Granger. Lelia Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Joseph Granger; parents, Louis and Mary Minerva Kimble Armond; sister, Mary Myrtle Bayham; brother, Louis A. Armond. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Boutte', Randy Boone Pierce Jr., Davey Judice, Kevin Judice, Robert Granger Jr., and Chad Granger. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to defray the funeral costs or masses. Please share memories and sympathies at www.wilbertservices.com.
