A resident of Denham Springs, she passed away at 9:17 PM on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Harvest Manor Nursing Home in Denham Springs. She was born November 19, 1929 in Independence and was 87 years of age. She is survived by her children, Betty Jo Hayden Deese, Brenda Hayden Overby and husband, Mike, Alice M. Hayden and Judith Hayden Vampran and husband, Joel; brother, Bobby Elton Sweeney and wife, Virginia; sister, Lillie Mae Sweeney Smith and husband, Jerrell, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. Preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Hayden and Jack Brunet; and 2 infant sisters, Jessie Bell Sweeney and Patricia Carol Sweeney. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 PM until 9 PM, Friday, and from 8 AM until religious services at 10 AM, Saturday, June 24, 2017. Interment Ford Cemetery, Independence.
