A native and resident of Lutcher, Liegy Stafford passed away at St. James Parish Hospital in Lutcher at 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. He was 66. Visiting at New Zion Christian Center in Gramercy, Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. until religious services at 11:00 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Emil D. Mitchell. Interment in Golden Wreath Cemetery in Lutcher. Survived by four sisters: Marva Brooks, Elmira Shaw, Kathy Inuwa and Marcella (Paul) Linton. A brother: Herman (Nicole) Stafford; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents: George Stafford Sr. and Esterine Lee Stafford.
