Lillian "Lil" Bergeron entered into her Saviors arms on February 23, 2018, in Denison, TX. She was born April 6, 1929 in Opelousas, La., to Oscar and Lillian Doucet. She was a young beauty queen, traveled the world, loved hunting, fishing and camping. She was a fabulous Cajun cook, antique collector, dancer, card player and talented painter. She lived a life most only dream about. She was a devoted Catholic and her prayer beads were always close at hand. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband "Buddy" of 66 years of marriage; sons Anthony Bergeron and Paul Bergeron. She is survived by her son Dr. Robert Bergeron and wife De Anna; daughter Janet Brumfield and husband David; grandchildren Sarah Bergeron, Dustin Bergeron, Melissa Barker, Lauren Waldrop; and great-grandchildren Nathaniel Barker, Oliver Barker and Noah Bergeron. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Greenoaks Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, La., with visitation before from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
