Mrs. Lisa Rae Verhein Spiess age 55, of Hendersonville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Lisa Spiess was born in Baton Rouge, LA on October 7, 1962, the daughter of Rita Roussel Roberts and Lamar Roberts. Lisa will forever be remembered for her radiant smile. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake and a dedicated servant of the Lord. Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents; aunts, uncles; her brother, Dale Verhein; and a sister, LaRae Roberts. She is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 35 years, Ernest Spiess, to whom she was married on June 5, 1982; her mother and father, Rita and Lamar Roberts; three sons, Jacob (Sichel) Spiess, Matthew (Amanda) Spiess, and Adam (Krystal) Spiess; three grandchildren, twins, Elowen Finch Spiess and Everett Fox Spiess, and Edison Paul Spiess; and a sister, Lesli Dawn (Ronnie) Carter.
