Mabel L. Jarreau passed away at her home in Livonia, December 26, 2012, at the age of 84. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Visiting will be held at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Monday December 31, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Fr. Bob Stine. Interment to follow in False River Memorial Park. She was survived by husband of 66 years, Clebert Jarreau; daughters, Diane J. Newsom and husband John, Grace J. Williams and husband Charlie; son, Dale Jarreau and wife Dana; sisters, Adeline Bonaventure and husband Eugene, Marie Bates; brother, Daniel Langlois and wife Joyce; grandchildren, Dana Lemoine and husband Paul, Jared Jarreau and wife Cherie; great-grandchildren, Timothy and Cody Lemoine, Kiptyn and Brynlee Jarreau. She was preceded in death by: parents, Aubin and Augusta Langlois; sister, Anna Belle Jarreau. Pallbearers: Tommy Boudreaux, Leniel Kimble, Jared Jarreau, Jessie Jarreau, Ronnie Jarreau, Deron McLin. Honorary pallbearers: Gary Bello, Charles Bonaventure, Daniel Langlois, Timothy and Cody Lemoine.
