Margaret Ann Babin Burns, 70, of Geismar passed away October 22, 2016 at Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, she was born in Gonzales, LA. She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Ladies Alter Society. Mrs. Burns is survived by her husband of 52 years; Glenn Burns, daughter; Tressie Burns (Danny) Madere, son; Kendall Burns, sister; Dianne Arceneaux. Preceded in death by her parents Cyven and Lucy White Babin, brother n law Aymond Arceneaux, Jr., mother and father n law; Vernon and Althea Burns. Pallbearers; Brian Minvielle, Kelly Arceneaux, Kent Arceneaux, Seth Arceneaux, Robert Burns, Jr., Jade Letulle. Honorary Pallbearer; Kenneth Minvielle. Visitation will be at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Tuesday October 25th starting at 9:30am to 11:00am. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am followed by her burial at Cornerview Cemetery in Gonzales, Fr. Jerry Martin will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to St. Joseph Hospice Foundation, 17732 Highland Road Suite G Box 241, Baton Rouge, LA 70810. Arrangements are being handled by Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales. Friends who are not able to attend can leave words of condolences at www.oursofh.com.
