Margret Hunter Singleton, affectionately known as "Momo" was born on September 14, 1944 and died on March 3, 2018. She was a longtime resident of Wells Place in Baton Rouge, LA. Momo enjoyed taking care of the "babies" and spread her love throughout Georgia and Florida. Our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother will be truly missed, but never forgotten as she continues to live within us. She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Cheryl Singleton and Jan (Calvin) Moses; two sons, Derek and Lawrence Hunter; grandchildren in Florida: Jasmine, Branden(Shanequa), Danyelle and Thomas; and two great grandsons, Branden, Jr and Jonah; lifelong friend, Leona Bowie and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents Cornelius Hunter, Lawrence and Florence Benjamin; aunt, Carrieline Hunter; three children, Shandralyn, Jamie and Ylette. The family would like to extend a special "Thank-you" to Ms. Terri for comforting her during her transition. Visitation will be held at Desselle Funeral Home on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm.
