Maria Elisa Casas, age of 94, very dedicated Mother and Grandmother, native of Colombia and a resident of Baton Rouge passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016. Maria was very dedicated to the Catholic Church and enjoyed going to Mass on a regular basis. She is survived by a daughter, Amparo; and three sons, Orlando, Rodolfo and Raul; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Maria was preceded in death by her daughter Gladys. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd. 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church 1:00 p.m. until the mass of Christian burial at 2:00 p.m. celebrated by Fr. Minj Nutan.
