Marvin A. Hutchinson, 83, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 13, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 5:00PM on Monday, October 16, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Haynesville, Ga., with visitation one hour prior to the service from 4:00PM – 5:00PM. A second visitation will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at Seale Funeral Home in Livingston, La. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Hutchinson Cemetery in Albany, La. Mr. Hutchinson was born September 1, 1934, to Peter and Irene Hutchinson in Livingston Parish, La. He served proudly in the US Army in the post war occupation forces in Austria. He was retired from years of entrepreneurship having owned both Hutchinson Ford in Kentwood, La., and Hutch's Honda in Covington, La. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Haynesville, Ga., and loved his Lord, church, and church family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Delmas Hutchinson; and two sons, Marvin Jr. and James Hutchinson. His memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 64 years, Sally Hutchinson, of Perry, Ga., originally from Spring Creek, La.; daughter, Sherri Lozano (the late Frank Lozano) of McComb, Miss., and her children Rev. Dr. Robb Harrell (Ezel) of McDonough, Ga., Charles Harrell of McComb, Miss., and Christina Harrell of Hamilton Ontario, Canada; son, David Hutchinson (Connie), of Perry, Ga., and their children, Casey, Piper, and Grant; daughter-in-law, Paula Cooper Hutchinson of Covington, La., and her children Erin Gentile (Anthony) of San Diego, Calif., and Jeremy Hutchinson (Lauren) of Covington, La.; daughter-in-law, Joan Hutchinson of Denver, Colo.; grandson, Jesse Hutchinson (Liz) of Arvada, Colo.; sister, Nettie Blackwell of Independence, La.; brother, Peter Hutchinson Jr. (Marie) of Kountze, Texas, and 12 great-grandchildren.
