A resident of Baton Rouge since age 10, Mary Lou Caradine Riché was born in Memphis on September 3, 1918 and died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at her St. James Place residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Mary Caradine; her husband, Dr. H. Guy Riché, Jr.; her sister, Jane Caradine Hallman; and a daughter-in-law, Madelene Hubbs Riché. She is survived by two sons: Robert Riché and wife Bobbie and their son Taylor and his wife Carrie; and H. Guy Riché III and his wife Mimi, grandson Andrew Riché and his wife Mary and their children Madelene and James; granddaughter Barbin Lewis and her husband Matt and their children Jackson and Peyton. She is also survived by step-grandchildren Malen Kemp, her husband Dave and their children Campbell and Cullen; Hassen Fakes and her husband Roger and their children Gibby and Edmond, and Ragan Morales and her husband Paul and their children Maren, Gabe, Mabrie and Morgan. Mary Lou was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School and LSU, and was an active community volunteer. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the staff of St. James Place for their care and support. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at University United Methodist Church, 3350 Dalrymple Drive, from 10am until service at 11am. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
