A native of Brusly, La., and resident of New Orleans, he died Friday, April 12, 2013. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was awarded the Purple Heart. Services at Union Baptist Church, Brusly, LA, on Monday, April 22, 2013, at 11AM; visitation from 9AM until 11AM. Interment in Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary, LA. Survivors include his wife, Croscina O. Crockett; daughters, Theresita Augustine (Byron) and Monica Crockett; son, Nolen J.
