Patricia Hill Obituary

Patricia Diane Johnson Hill died on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, in the loving home of Amanda and Eric Wilshusen in Kingwood, Texas. "Pat" was born on November 10, 1950 in Aberdeen, Ms to John and Leona Johnson. She had six siblings, Maxine Currier, Johnny Johnson, Brenda Gibson, Kimble Johnson, Connie Hinson Howington and Victor Johnson. She and Jerry Lee Hill were blessed with three wonderful daughters. Pat graduated from Northwestern State University with a degree in Nursing. She held many different positions in the nursing field including coronary care nurse, ER nurse, house supervisor, LPN instructor and director of nurses over 2 hospitals. She worked in too many places to name, but her last place of employment was with Promise Health Care in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Pat absolutely loved nursing (well most everything) and really hated when she had to quit due to her illness. Most of her dearest friends were co-workers for many years. She loved and appreciated all of them. They called her their "real life Maxine"! Pat had ten beautiful grandchildren, two of whom God felt were too special to send to this earth, so He kept them in heaven with Him. She absolutely adored and doted on every single one of them. Her life was filled with dance recitals, baseball games and everything else she could partake in. She loved traveling and went on several trips with friends and family. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.She is survived by her three children, Sandy Palma (Chad), Dana Robertson, (Steve) and Amanda Wilshusen (Eric); four siblings, Maxine Currier, Brenda Gibson, Kimble Johnson, and Connie Hinson Howington; eight grandchildren, aunts, brother-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Leona Johnson and her brothers Johnny and Victor Johnson. Services will be held at Boone Funeral Home 2156 Airline Dr., Bossier City, La at 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 29, 2015. The family will greet friends at 2:00 until the time of the service.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother. Pat and I met at RWMC and she was a jewel. She was pretty comical. Oh how she loved her kids and grandchildren. She was very proud of each and everyone of them for sure.
It was a privaledge to have personally worked with "Maxine" She was much more than a coworker to us though. May she rest in peace for she is no longer suffering. See ya later Patricia
