Just found out today that you have been gone from this mortal world for close to a year old friend. You were my best friend for many years, from our high school days at Broadmoor until I left BR in '85. I'll never forget you brother…you introduced me to Kerouac, hardcore punk, and so much more..I don't think you will ever know how much of an influence you were on me bro... Rest In Peace…
The pic included is how I will always remember you..just like Jack.."On the Road"...

Wow. I just found out while standing in line at a convenience store. Some random guy was complementing me on my tattoos and asked me who did them. I said Pat Brabham...and his eyes got real big. "You did not hear?" he said...and then he told me the sad sad news. RIP man. You gave me my first tattoo when I was 17 way back in '97. And years later you gave me a sleeve. I wish I had known you better, that is my regret. Thank you for the tattoos; thank you for the long conversations about art, music, and the things that we both despised/disagreed when it came to people/culture; thank you for the couple of prints of your amazing art and the Christmas card painting especially (it was by far one of my favs). You will missed and NEVER forgotten. Hope you have found rest.

Patrick was my older brother who let me crash on his floor when I was a homeless teen. He was my protector and always had my back in a fight. We loved each other as more than friends when I was 24, but the theme here is Patrick was a part of my life from 14-41. I will keep alive in my mind, heart, and memories your laugh, your occasional smile, everything I ever saw you paint, sitting at Deaf Valley Shell watching people, your incredible right hook, your kindness and generosity... I miss you I wish I could've been there in June.

Words cannot express how much your passing has affected not only me but our "crew." There will always be love in my heart for you. We celebrate your life everytime we come together. I will miss the bbqs, camping, tubing trips you let us talk you into coming on. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your life. Love eternal.

I hadn't had a chance to read these yet, but it's with a still heavy heart I did. I couldn't imagine everything about you being loved & admitted any less, & I knew there'd be hundreds left heartbroken by our loss of you. While I'd rather be selfish, & have you here, I hope things are better for you. My biggest ferret is trying to be all grown up, & consumed with my family. Not spending as much time with you as I had in the past.I'll just have to hold on to all the previous memories I DO HAVE! Much Love to a wonderful, protective big brother! Jess

So kind and gentle. Witty and with twinkling eyes when he smiled. I was always impressed by his talent and always in awe of the way his creative brain worked ... he saw things like no one else. I cherish the holidays and times I spent with him and his beautifully kind and warm mother, Beverly (and her famous potato salad!). I am lucky to have been able to learn from him, to love him, and to be loved by him. I miss you dearly, Patrick

Pat, you were like a big brother to me many years ago. At that time you were with my bestfriend Alicia Danee. I was in my early teens. You taught me how to play pool, which I still do what u taught me except the cheating part (Lol). I always asked about you and wanted to come see you. I wish I would have done so. You will be missed and never forgotten. Now you and Lenny can play pool together in heaven. He won't cheat!! Love, Courtney A.Blocker

It's the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you'll remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do for you in this trying time.
