Our Deepest Sympathy to your entire family. Me and my son just found out about his passing on yesterday and we were shocked, but Dr Ribochaux was my sons doctfor many years , he did a total hip Replacement on my son at 15 years old , and he was so caring and helped me and my husband feel confident about the Surgery knowing our son was so young , and everything went well! He later after 15 years did a revision on the same right hip replacement cup , and once again everything went well. And just last year around this time his brother did my sons left hip replacement, and once again all is well!! I appreciate the gift that God gave to all that had an opportunity to share with the world, may God , heal , comfort and give peace to your family.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Dr. Robichaux will be greatly missed. He was my doctor for several years. I really appreciated his professionalism and his kindness. On one of my visits, his cell rang. When he saw the caller, his face glowed. "This is from my daughter. Mind if I take it?" After the call, he was so happy to have spoken with her and know that she was safe and doing well; he was all smiles. As he told me a little about her, he couldn't stop grinning. He was definitely proud of his family. He will be missed by many, many people.

Dickie, my dear old friend. We grew up together and I treasure the memories of those times and the countless hours I spent at your welcoming home. On behalf of our physicians and staff, Baton Rouge Orthopaedic Clinic deeply regrets the passing of Richard Dickie Robichaux, MD. Dr. Robichaux was a tremendous person, colleague, friend, and surgeon. He was a founding member of our Clinic and provided orthopedic care in the Baton Rouge community since 1984. In addition to working with BROC, he also provided orthopedic coverage and training for the residents at LSU Health Sciences Center. We will deeply miss Dr. Robichaux and appreciate his many and varied contributions to our organization.

Dr Dickie was our doctor and very dear friend. He worked tirelessly to help me with back issues and two frozen shoulders and my husband with knee and elbow surgeries. And, also saw our daughter and son. Such a wonderful and caring person. He made you feel like family. Such a great sense of humor, good fishing and family stories. So proud of his family. I am glad he touched our lives. He will be very sorely missed.

RIP, my dear friend. I was shocked when I heard the news this morning about Dickie's passing. Although we only ran into each other at class reunions, we always shared a laugh or two during those times. It was hard to think of Dickie without thinking back to our high school days when he was part intellectual and part class clown. He will be missed by the CLHS class of 1970.

Shock, sadness, unbelievable, too soon. All these feelings and emotions have swelled and are added to the other thoughts and tributes from friends, family, patients and members of the community who loved Dickie.
I too had these feelings when I was told about his passing. I am sorry for your loss. I hope the following can ease some pain.
A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says, "She's gone." Gone where? I wonder. Gone from my sight, that's all. For she is just as large as when I saw her. Her diminished size, and the eventual total loss from my sight is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says "She is gone", There are others who are watching her coming and other voices That take up a glad shout and say, "There she comes!" And that is dying.
