A resident of Slaughter, she died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Lane Regional Medical Center, Zachary. She was 57 years old. Visiting will be at Slaughter First Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 5pm until 8pm and continues on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 8:30am until service at 10am conducted by Rev. Basil Wicker. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery, St. Francisville. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Charles George. Son, Christopher Robert George. sister, Janice Belle Beavers and husband, Joe. 2 grandchildren, Dylan and Blake George. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lesia Marie George, grandson, Trent George, parents, Robert and Lesia Rogers and a brother, Robert "BayBoy" Rogers. Pallbearers will be Don Hughes, H.K. Simmons, Jimmy Simmons, Joel Gremillion, Jeremy Beavers and Sam Moran. Share sympathies, condolences and memories at www.CharletFuneralHome.com.

Robbie you will be missed. Thank you for everything you have done for Jeremy and I. I will never forget you. You were like a mom to me.. Your one of the reasons that we have stayed on right path. I will miss our talks and our weekly trips.. I love you!
