"Bobby" Ferachi, born July 2, 1966, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family Sunday, March 19, 2017. He was a graduate of Catholic High School and LSU. He moved to Dallas, Texas and became an officer with the Dallas Police Department for 6 years, and a member of a Dallas Police Department Board of Directors. He later became a real estate agent with Dave Perry-Miller and Associates Realtors. He was a member of the LSU Bicycle Club and the US Cycling Federation. As younger man he and a friend Neil Spratt, followed the Tour de France on their bicycles. He is survived by a son, Andrew Mason Ferachi, and a daughter, Madeline Grace Ferachi, and former wife Carol Funk. Also survived by his parents, Norman C. and Beth Ferachi, sisters, Michelle and husband Mike Robinson, and Renee and husband John R. Sims, III. Also nieces and nephews: John-Michael Robinson, III and wife Lauryn, Tyler Robinson, Ryan Robinson, John R. Sims, IV, Joey Sims, and Jenny Sims. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Vincent C. and Jenny Ferachi, and Louis and Rose Pallud. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East 11000 Florida Blvd. starting at 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Donations may be made to Catholic High School or the .
