A native of St. James, La. and resident of Marrero, La., he died Dec. 4, 2012 at West Jefferson Hospital. He was 84, a retired laborer. Visiting at St. James Catholic Church on Dec. 10, 2012 from 12 noon until service at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Christopher Decker. Interment in St. James Catholic Church Cemetery. Survivors include his daughters, Deborah (Charlie) Byther and Beverly Winchester; and sons, Cornell (Madelyn) Winchester, Stanly Winchester, Lloyd Winchester, Donald (Rebecca) Winchester, Bernard (Joyce) Winchester, Alvin (Gloria) Winchester and Ronnie.
