The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; Mrs. Rosa Mae Plain Bell departed this life and entered into eternal rest at her residence in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 9am. She was a native of Woodville, Mississippi and a member of St James #2 B.C. since 1957 where she also served as their Mother. Visitation at Miller & Daughter Mortuary, Zachary, Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 8am until service at 11am, conducted by Pastor Bernell Robinson; interment at Port Hudson National Cemetery. Survivors include her children, Linda Fay Bell and Lottie Bell Earl; grandchildren, Hillery Bell II, Leon Thomas Earl and Zsa Zsa McNeek Tate; 14 great-grandchildren;seven great-great-grandchildren; preceded in death by her husband, Hillery Bell; parents, Louis and Lottie Plain; and a son, Warren Lee Bell.
