Rosie Lee Spann Williams a native of Ethel, Louisiana, and a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana entered into eternal rest at her home where she most wanted be on September 6, 2017 at 84 years of age. She retired from East Baton Rouge Parish school system as a cook. Visitation Saturday 16, 2017 11am until religious service at 1pm at Evergreen Baptist Church, 956 N. 39th St., Baton Rouge, Louisiana, conducted by the Rev. McHenry Wallace on September 16, 2017; Interment at True Light Baptist Church Cemetery, Ethel, Louisiana. Survived by Joe Willis (Delores), Delores, Leon, and Brice Williams all of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. brothers George Spann, Willie Spann (Louise), Baton Rouge, Louisiana; sister Evelena Green, Port Hudson, Louisiana; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and a host of other relative and friends; A special thank you to cousin Adeline Thomas of Wilson, Louisiana. Preceded in death by her parents Robert and Edith Spann of Scotlandville, Louisiana; Brother Henry Spann (Johnnie Mae) Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Husbands Joe S. Williams and C.C. Huddleston, Baton Rouge; and a beloved friend John Green of Ethel, Louisiana.
