A resident of Denham Springs passed away at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice at the age of 86 on Sunday, September 11, 2017. She was owner of Kay's Realty and Upland Corp. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation on Thursday will resume at 9:00am. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by her four children, Kathy Lockhart, Theodore and Gayle Anderson, Ted and Patricia Anderson, and Jeff and Grace Whiddon, fifteen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, fifteen great great-grandchildren, brother, Earl Crabtree, and sister, Shelia Faye Wells. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mathis and Johnnie Crabtree, husband, Donald W. Chambers, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother, Matt Crabtree, Jr., and four sisters, Rena May Booth, Ruby Lee Maranto, Louise Tidrick, and Laverne Hill.
