Our beloved Shawn went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, January 6, 2017. Shawn was 44 years old, born to Monica Kinabrew and Alan Kinabrew on October 27, 1972. Shawn was a valuable gift from God and an inspiration to all. He is survived by his parents, Monica Kinabrew and Eugene Lockwood of Pride; sister; Misty Dawn Kinabrew (Steven Signon) of Dutchtown; brother, Joel Lane Kinabrew (Amanda Fulcher) of Walker; aunt, Lisa Cobb Haire of Central; niece, Jade Alexis Kinabrew; nephews, Joel Landon Kinabrew and Peyton Lane Kinabrew; and a very special friend, Brandon Curtis. Brandon devoted much of his time that brightened Shawn's days. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Joel James and Irene Hopkins James, J.C. and Mary Payne Cobb, Russell Leon and Lona Kinabrew. Pallbearers will be Joel Kinabrew, Eugene Lockwood, Steven Sigmon, Landon Kinabrew, Del Windham, IV and James Hinson. Thank you to all devoted caregivers through the years. Special thanks to Donna Brown and Diane Moore and the excellent staff at Lane Memorial. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 5 pm until 9 pm and resumes on Thursday from 12 pm until religious services at 2:30 pm. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Monica I'm so sorry. I remember the day Shawn was born like yesterday. I know you gave him a wonderful life giving him all the adventures you were able to give. You devoted your life to him and I know he loved with all of his heart. May God comfort you during these days. You've done all you could have done to give Shawn all you have.
