Stephen Marc Stuart, 56, of Gonzales passed away on Saturday, December 31st at his residence. Mr. Stuart was a Market Manager at Winn Dixie with 30 years of service, he was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Survivors include his daughter; Stephanie Stuart, his grandson; Jordan Lopez, his ex-wife; Kathy Stuart, his sister; Laura Stuart, Twin brother; Michael B. Stuart, niece; Sarah E. Dupont and great nephew; Toby A. Dupont-Broussard. Mr. Stuart was preceded in death by his parents; Fredric and Sondra Argrave Stuart, his grandparents; AV (Toby) and Bea Argrave, paternal grandparents; Belmont Collins Stuart and Alvah Stuart. His memorial service with Military Honors will be Monday Jan 9th in Ourso Funeral Home Chapel at 11am with visitation starting at 10am, his body was cremated. The family would like to thank Dr. Bryan J. Bienvenu and staff, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, and the staff of Southern Care Hospice for the excellent care he received. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Cancer Services-Greater Baton Rouge at 550 Lobdell Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70806. Arrangements are being handled by Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales.
