Tom Jack Bentley Jr., 63, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Baton Rouge. Tom was born in Alameda, CA and resided in Prairieville. He retired from Valero Energy Corporation where he worked as an operations technician. Tom is survived by his wife of 42 years, Viann Brown Bentley of Prairieville; daughter and son-in-law Chrisy and Julian Cavalier of Gonzales; brother Steve Bently of St. Amant; and his two most precious gifts in life, grandchildren Calie Shaules and Brennan Shaules. Preceded in death by his parents Tom Jack Bentley Sr. and Nita Lou Griffith Bentley and brother Larry Bentley. Visitation will be at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Monday June 26, 2017 from 5PM until 9PM. Cremation service will follow at a later date.
