Mrs. UraLee Barrow Wade departed this life to be with the Lord on Friday December 27, 2013 at 9:07 am at her home in the presence of her husband of 56 years and their son, and a sister and a great-niece. UraLee was 75 years in age and accepted Christ at a very early age in life. She had an old saying "Put God first in everything you do a difference can be seen by me and you." She was a 1957 graduate of Capital High School. Graduated from Southern University in Elementary Education and was a retired school teacher and worked 20 Years as Chief of Security at Baton Rouge Centroplex now known as The River Center. She leaves to mourn her husband of 56 years Robert Wade, a son Miguel T. Wade, a brother Sherman Barrow, a sister Marcella Barrow and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Jim Barrow and Pearl Barrow, a sister Ambassador Lil Barrow Veal, Brothers James Barrow, Willie Barrow and Leo Barrow. Halls Davis and Son in charge of Arrangements. Services will be held Friday January 3, 2014. Viewing from 6pm to 7pm. Funeral Service from &pm to 9pm and Dismissal Saturaday January 4, 2014 at 10am. Rev. Leo Cyrus-Eulogy.
