Venethia "V" Pate Gilmore born July 18, 1913 in Weyanoke, LA to the late Samuel and Maggie Gilmore Pate. She moved to New Orleans where she married the late Taft Gilmore. She leaves to mourn, a devoted daughter Venethia A. Gilmore-Reese (Ergin, Jr.), a grandson Chris John Boudreaux, Jr., a God daughter Charlmaine Minor-Jones and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held, Saturday, July 27 2013, 10am, James Chapel MBC, 4228 Thalia Street, NOLA. Viewing will be 9am-10am. Pastor Herman Brown will officiate. Interment will be in St. Francisville, LA at the Greater Hollywood B. C. Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Dennis Mortuary, Dignified Personal Service, 1812 Louisiana Avenue, New Orleans, LA (504) 899-8252.
