You don't get over it, you just get through it. You don't get by it, because you can't get around it. It doesn't 'get better'; it just gets different. Everyday... Grief puts on a new face....
As life shows you the various faces of grief, may you find comfort in knowing that God continues to have His hands on each of you.

Wil,
I empathize with you and your family during your time of such a GREAT loss. During this time I pray that you all lean on God, each other and the caring family & friends who reach out to you. "The memory of the just is blessed", hold tight to your memories and share them with each other. It helps the heart to heal and you'll sometimes find yourself laughing or smiling. A burden shared is a burden lightened. "There is a time to cry"; whenever, wherever and however many times you want to cry do so. We are crying with you my friend! I pray that the Lord touch, heal and comforts you and your family NOW and in the days and years to come.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds"
