Charles William Haase, Jr., age 63 and a resident of Pumpkin Center, Charles passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014 at his residence. He was retired as a millwright with the Local Union 720 in Baton Rouge. He enjoyed fishing and cherished the time he spent with his wife, children and grandchildren and will be missed dearly. Charles leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 22 years, Bonnie Moore Haase; daughters, Catherine Elizabeth Haase, Faye McCarroll Gregoire and husband Bruce; son, Kinion Bankston and wife Tanya, along with his grandchildren, John Bankston III and wife Kristina, Brent McCarroll, Brandie Bankston and fiancé Brad Pujol, Ashley Gregoire Ledet and husband Caleb, Jessica Gregoire, Taylor, Leeann and Brena Rodgers; great-grandchildren, Brenley Bankston, Brennan Ledet and Samuel Bankston. He is also survived by his sisters, Joycelyn White and husband David, Louise Babin, Diane Jeansonne; brothers, Donnie Jeansonne and wife Joann, Rodney Oliver, Ora Fondren and wife Vonnie, George Patterson, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Charles in death were his parents, Charles William, Sr. and Eriea Guidry Haase; sister, Betty Haase Jarreau. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, west of Hammond, on Monday, February 24, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Fr.
