Elaine G. Monaghan passed away at 11:40 AM, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Baton Rouge Health Care at the age of 83. She was a resident of Tylertown, MS. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4848 Hollywood Street, Baton Rouge on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Claude Nettles; 4 sisters and brothers-in-law, Mozell Pucket, Agnes Williams, Minnie and Bobby Williams and Betty Sue and Ronnie Hanberg; 7 grandchildren, Richard and Tommy Gagliano, Cynthia and John Nettles, Jennifer, Laura and Robert Paul Monaghan; 7 great-grandchildren, Bradley, Travis and Todd Gagliano, Toby Nettles, Omary Murry, Zander Monaghan and Morgan Nettles; host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard Monaghan; parents, Robert and Lucille Gant; sons, Robert and Raymond Todd Monaghan; brother, Earnest Odell Gant. She was a member of the East McComb and Glen Oaks congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
