Jerry Wayne Zeigler peacefully went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, March 3, 2014 at the age of 77. Prior to retirement, he was the owner of Bocage Supermarket. He was a native of Provincal, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, until retirement, he then moved to Pierre Part, LA. until 2007 and became a resident of Geismar, LA. Jerry was a caring and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Gwen Rogers Zeigler; son, Brett Zeigler and wife Charleen; daughter, Kimberly Z. Wells and husband Brian; grandchildren, Blaine Brocato, Addison Wells, Dawson Wells, and Leah Grace Zeigler; great-granddaughter, Kaleigh Brocato; and brother, Ronald Zeigler. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth Zeigler, maternal grandparents, Frank and Mattie Thomas; and paternal grandparents, C.A. and Olla Zeigler. A private service was held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge on Friday, March 7, 2014. Interment followed at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
